The Nursery is a beautiful house, renovated especially with children in mind. It is set in large, secure gardens with ample parking space and is ideally located just off the A59 on Lovely Hall Lane.

Babies (0~18months)

We have a self-contained baby room that has a warm and homely atmosphere where your child can play safely with age appropriate toys and fully qualified and attentive staff.

Feeds, nappy changes and all the main events of the day are recorded for you in a daily diary so that you are fully informed about your child’s day.

Tweenies (18 months~3 years)

At this age children need the freedom to develop their own personality and really benefit from the opportunity of playing with and learning from other children. To aid their development, in addition to lots of free play, structured activities are provided throughout the day, including counting, sorting, baking and gardening. The toddlers also have great fun with sand, water, paint and art and craft activities.

Pre-School (3 years+)

As with the toddler’s all the above activities and opportunities are available for the pre-school children to enjoy. To further their development the children also follow a carefully devised pre-school curriculum that is linked to the 6 Early Learning Goals as stated by OFSTED.

The children complete a folder of work to cover each of the themes taught and all their work is assessed and recorded and is available for you to see. A parents evening is held each year to enable you to discuss your child’s progress with the teaching staff.
